Les Galets Rouges is Château Mourgues du Grès’s flagship wine, and , remains a wine of remarkable quality in every vintage and a true standout in the Costières de Nîmes region. “Intensely fruity and expressive, with notes of licorice and jammy black fruits. Supple with a lovely tannic structure.” (Le Grand Guide des Vins de France 2011 - Bettane & Desseauve)

About the estate:

François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.
