Ratings: Robert Parker 90/100, Gault Millau 14.5/20, Bettane & Desseauve 14.5/20, RVF 14/20
“A deep, vibrant color with hints of raspberry brandy. All this is wrapped in a distinctly southern charm. On the palate, its full-bodied character hints at a rosé with a distinct vinous character.” (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2011 - Gault Millau)

Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.

Review by Mr. FREDERIC B. Posted on May 28, 2014
Tasted in May 2014: partridge-eye color; corked nose; stale wine; the cork taint is less pronounced on the palate. Perhaps a problem with the bottle? (Only one sample available)
