“A cuvée that is currently more reserved and firm, but with excellent structure and a hint of bitterness on the finish. A very successful vintage. ” (Le Grand Guide des Vins de France 2011 - Bettane & Desseauve)

Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.

Tasted in May 2014: deep color, black fruit on the nose, harmonious on the palate. A wine at its peak, though less powerful than its counterparts.
