Rating: Robert Parker 85/100
A quintessential Côtes du Rhône, this wine is made from organically grown grapes. The Grenache and Syrah grape varieties complement each other to create a wine with a smooth body and aromas of red fruit and garrigue. A structured, very fruity red that leaves a lovely freshness on the palate. Definitely worth trying!

About the estate:

Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring estates in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
