Domaine et Maison Les Alexandrins

Les Alexandrins Estate and House
Domaine et Maison Les Alexandrins was born from the association of three figures from the northern Rhône Valley: Nicolas Jaboulet, sixth generation of a family of winegrowers based in Tain l'Hermitage since 1834, Guillaume Sorrel, son of Marc Sorrel of Domaine Sorrel in Hermitage, and Alexandre Caso, specialist in the terroirs of the northern Rhône Valley. They met in 2012 when Nicolas Jaboulet (head of Maison Nicolas Perrin, founded in 2007) and Guillaume Sorrel, in partnership with Alexandre Caso (both of whom founded Domaine Les Alexandrins in Mercurol in 2009), began working on individual plots of Crozes-Hermitage vines for Maison Nicolas Perrin wines. Their shared knowledge of the terroirs and wines that had marked the history of the northern Rhône Valley and their taste for the great wines of their region quickly led them to take things further together.

In 2014, Alexandre and Guillaume's desire to promote the wines of Domaine Les Alexandrins and Nicolas's desire to establish Maison Nicolas Perrin in the heart of the Northern Rhône Valley led the three men to collaborate more and more closely. In 2015, Maison Nicolas Perrin acquired a majority stake in Domaine Les Alexandrins, and Maison Nicolas Perrin changed its name to " Domaine et Maison Les Alexandrins." This partnership enabled Domaine Les Alexandrins to pursue its dream of producing wines from the northern Rhône Valley characterized by pure classicism, and Maison Nicolas Perrin to become Maison Les Alexandrins, expanding its range of wines, already renowned for their quality for many years, across all the appellations of the northern Rhône Valley.
