This cuvée comes from a vineyard plot known as "Plateau de l'Aigle," where Roussanne ( 70%) and Viognier ( 30%) are planted on low-fertility limestone soil, resulting in low yields. The result is a complex wine where the aromas of fleshy fruits like peach delicately blend with peppery notes. Its palate, rich and smooth, expresses itself with power while remaining precise! A beautiful bottle...

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Château des Tourettes owns a lovely vineyard on the Apt plateau. Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens have almost entirely restructured the vineyard, demonstrating their commitment to creating a distinctive terroir through the replanting of massal selections. The wines remain true to Jean-Marie Guffens’s style, consistently balancing fully ripened grapes with a mineral tension on the finish. Jean-Marie and Maine are refocusing production on white wines and discontinuing the Guffens du Sud wine merchant business.
