“Les Hauts de Julien 2014 is easily the most impressive wine from the Perrin family. A blend of co-fermented Syrah and Grenache from high-altitude vineyards, it offers sublime notes of black and blue fruits, violets, crushed pepper, and wet stones. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, elegant, straightforward, and silky, this is a top-class Southern Rhône wine with a touch of the Northern Rhône.” (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated 3 stars (A high-quality product that serves as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
