Domain of Aitonnement
Maxime Dancoine, a young winemaker from Savoie, settled in Anton a few years ago. Characterized by highly fragmented plots, he cultivates his vineyard, L'Aitonnement, like a garden, as it consists exclusively of hillsides. The absence of other professional winemakers in this part of the Maurienne massif, combined with the slope, make this vineyard unique and atypical, full of charm and arousing the curiosity of wine lovers.

In order to best respect this unique environment, Maxime decided to adopt certified organic farming practices since 2017 and biodynamics. This meaningful approach to agriculture requires careful thought before action, and every day he sees how nature rewards him in return.

Allobroges IGP production is part of the biodiversity and ambition to revive Savoyard viticulture. Maxime Dancoine therefore favors planting endemic grape varieties such as Jaubertin and Blanc de Maurienne. Of course, there are whites made from Jacquère and Altesse with a rich and tense profile, as well as Mondeuse in Darkside.
