About the wine:
The 2024 Grüner Veltliner Am Berg is made from grapes harvested in the villages of Engabrunn, Feuersbrunn, and Grossriedenthal, sourced from both contract growers and the estate itself. The grapes are lightly crushed and undergo a brief maceration before pressing, then ferment spontaneously. Aromas of crushed mille-feuille and yeast on the nose make this a Grüner Veltliner that is instantly recognizable. On the palate, however, it defies the heat of the year and displays a freshness almost worthy of a Riesling. A lively freshness, brightness, and magnificent suppleness and precision set it apart from the rest. 2025–2035
