The Lapierres continue to excel with this estate—purchased in 1995 by Marcel Lapierre and Jean Claude Chanudet—nestled in the heart of the Beaujolais region. A wine of remarkable subtlety and fruitiness, this 2021 en primeur release offers a sneak peek at what’s to come. Crafted with the same care and expertise as at the Lapierre estate, Cambon is a success in the making! Please note: quantities are limited.

Review by Mr. ROMAIN F. Published on June 10, 2022

A lovely, indulgent wine that foreshadows the more serious vintages from Lapierre and friends. Rating revised upward: opened on Monday, tasted again on Friday—the wine held up admirably, retaining its indulgent character and gaining in body. A sign that speaks volumes about the authenticity of the production.
