About the estate:
"Christophe Coquard founded his own wine merchant business in 2005. He offers a range of wines covering every Beaujolais appellation, and more recently, the neighboring Mâconnais region. The labels are beautifully designed, and the prices remain reasonable. The company did not present its 2008 vintages as we had requested, but instead offered the 2009s, which have a more favorable reputation. In this vintage, several crus disappointed us, but the regional appellations were bursting with fruit.”
