About the estate:
"Christophe Coquard founded his own wine merchant business in 2005. He offers a range of wines covering every Beaujolais appellation, and more recently, wines from the neighboring Mâconnais region. The labels are beautifully designed, and the prices remain reasonable. The company did not present its 2008 vintage as we had requested, but instead offered the 2009 vintage, which has a more favorable reputation. In this vintage, several crus disappointed us, but the regional appellations were bursting with fruit.”
