A delightful Régnié that already has it all: a very fresh nose of red and black fruits with a hint of vegetation, a certain minerality, flowers, and notes of cocoa. The palate is round and fruity, with hints of stewed blackberries and light, mellow tannins. A beautifully balanced wine with a finish of dried herbs. It would be wonderful as an aperitif or with a filet mignon.

About the estate:
Wine workers, then owners from 1903 onwards, the Cinquin family settled in the hamlet of Les Braves in Régnié-Durette. Paul, an amateur cycling champion and friend of the Tour de France riders, handed over the reins to the sixth generation in 1988: Franck and Anne-Virginie. Their wine list features Régnié and Morgon vintages, Beaujolais-Villages and rosés, produced from 16 hectares of vines.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on January 30, 2026
Simple and straightforward, this Gamay delights with its delicious, smooth texture. Sparkling fruit awakens the taste buds and the mineral freshness of the vintage completes the experience. So delightful that we can forgive its slight lack of power, consistency, and length. A pleasure wine to be enjoyed without delay with endives au gratin with ham or crispy grilled pork belly. Rating = 3.7.
