About the estate:
Originally vineyard workers and later owners starting in 1903, the Cinquin family has been based in the hamlet of Les Braves in Régnié-Durette. Paul, an amateur cycling champion and friend of Tour de France riders, handed over the reins in 1988 to the sixth generation: Franck and Anne-Virginie. Their lineup includes Régnié and Morgon wines, Beaujolais-Villages, and rosés, produced from 16 hectares of vineyards.

Simple and straightforward, this Gamay delights with its rich, silky texture. Sparkling fruit awakens the taste buds, and the vintage’s mineral freshness further tantalizes them. So delightful that one can forgive its slight lack of power, body, and length. A wine for pleasure, best enjoyed sooner rather than later with endives au gratin with ham or a crispy grilled pork belly. Rating = 3.7.
