Domaine Cheveau - Saint-Amour Villa Violettes 2019
2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
“Favorite its Mâconnais wines, Domaine Cheveau is now joining the ranks of the greats in Saint-Amour with this cuvée, whose name evokes the family home built in 1685 and located in the village. In the vineyard, it is a blend from three plots planted with 40-year-old vines. In the glass, this is an exhilarating wine with an intense color, openly revealing red and black fruit accented by delicate floral and oaky nuances. This intensity carries through to the palate, which is full-bodied, rich, and silky, supported by velvety tannins and oak that is perfectly integrated with the fruit. The long, spicy, and deep finish is the final touch that wins you over. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022) Last bottles available!
