Château La Grange de Bessan

Château La Grange de Bessan was born of the ideal conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon on the limestone soils of the Civrac islet (very little topsoil over pervasive, outcropping limestone). Establishing the Château La Grange de Bessan vineyard in the Haut-Médoc AOC under such conditions was a costly, arduous, and long-term endeavor. It required significant technical resources, suitable rootstocks, and a great deal of patience. The vines of Château La Grange de Bessan, once established, receive care worthy of a viticulture textbook; the water supply is perfect—just enough, never excessive, never lacking—and the grapes are rich and concentrated.

Château La Grange de Bessan benefits from all the technology and expertise of Vignobles Lacombe.
