Château Larrieu-Terrefort

Founded in 1988, Château Larrieu-Terrefort is located in the town of Labarde on gravelly and sandy soil. Château Larrieu-Terrefort is unique in that it produces wine for two different appellations. Its 8-hectare estate is divided into 3.5 hectares in the Margaux AOC and 4.5 hectares in the Haut-Médoc AOC. 

The wine from Château Larrieu-Terrefort is vinified in tanks and aged in oak barrels (225-liter Bordeaux barrels) for 12 to 15 months before being bottled at the estate. Château Larrieu-Terrefort is rare, as only a few bottles are available for sale online, with the remainder reserved for sale at the estate.
