Château Pierrefitte
Château Pierrefitte is located in the heart of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation, not far from the renowned wines of Bel-Air, Rouget, and Feytit-Clinet. Situated in the southern part of the appellation and separated from Pomerol by the "La Barbanne" stream, the estate benefits from a magnificent clay-gravel terroir.
This 5-hectare vineyard is managed by the third generation of the Massonie family. Their motto comes from the Latin “Nec Falerno Minor,” meaning “no less good than Falerno wine.” Indeed, in ancient times, Falerno wines from the province of Caserta were among the most famous wines in the world. Today, the Massonie family passionately carries on this historic expertise while ensuring sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
