Château Clinet

Château Clinet is located in the heart of the Pomerol appellation, in the Bordeaux region. Situated on the finest plots of the famous Gunz gravel terrace—the terroir of the greatest Merlots—Château Clinet is one of the most prestigious estates in the Pomerol appellation.

The vineyard is planted primarily with Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Vine cultivation at Château Clinet is carried out with respect for the environment, prioritizing soil work and grass cover over chemical treatments, thus relying primarily on human labor. The gentle and sustainable cultivation of the land and vines yields grapes of exceptional quality. Investments in state-of-the-art viticultural equipment ensure the utmost respect for the soil and vineyards of Château Clinet. Furthermore, research into the terroir and vine foliage enables the establishment of a harvest plan for each vintage.

Since 2009, the Clinet Group, led by Ronan Laborde, has built a partnership with winemakers from the Right Bank to produce accessible wines, with the same generosity as Clinet but under the Bordeaux appellation. Ronan by Clinet is now releasing its first vintage.
