“The 2014 Enclos offers a dense bouquet that slowly opens up in the glass, revealing aromas of raspberry, wild strawberries, and leather that should become more pronounced as the wine ages. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. There is an abundance of black fruit framed by sage and cloves, which gently unfold into a stylish finish—somewhat austere but persistent.” (Wine Advocate 2017 - Robert Parker) Delivered in a wooden case for any order of 6 bottles of this wine

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2015 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)
Rated estate (2018 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the wine:
“Delicate on the palate at first, the wine tightens up and finishes with a spicy note.”
About the estate:
Owned by Stephen Adams, an American businessman and epicurean, L’Enclos has benefited from investments that have allowed the wine to re-enter our tastings. With its 38 plots spread across 9 hectares, this estate features a mix of sand, gravel, and flint. Dense and harmonious tannins, with a spicy finish.

Rated estate Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
Denise and Stephen Adams, an American couple who already own wineries in California, have been investing in the Libourne region for several years: Fonplégade, a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, in 2004, and L'Enclos in Pomerol, in 2007. The latter is expanding its 9-hectare vineyard, divided into thirty-eight plots, on the western slope of the plateau.
