"One of Pomerol's most prominent estates, with a 34-hectare vineyard located at the entrance to Catusseau. Merlot dominates, but the Médoc-based owners (Léoville Las Cases in Saint-Julien) are gradually increasing the area devoted to Cabernet Franc. The 2010 vintage contains 18% Cabernet Franc and displays the expected freshness. A delicate nose, subtly oaky and fruity, gives way to a lively palate, “vibrant” on the attack, sustained from start to finish by a lovely liveliness and firm tannins that give it body and depth, as well as real aging potential (a decade). Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated 17.5/20 (Top-rated wine)
Rated estate (2019 guide): 4 stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)
About the wine:
Made for aging, this wine deserves to be cellared for a few more years; it’s still holding back. If you want to serve it, you must definitely decant it.
About the estate:
The Delon family’s acquisition of the estate in 1997 allowed Nénin to regain its standing, which it has easily surpassed in recent vintages. While 2015 promises to be magnificent, the 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, and 2010 vintages are full of character. The acquisition, at the end of the 20th century, of part of Certan-Giraud allowed the estate to rely on one of Pomerol’s finest terroirs. Far less showy than most of its peers, it is built for aging and constantly evolving. The lingering tannins unfold beautifully, with great energy and a superb floral and spicy finish.

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2013 guide) 90/100 (Excellent wine)
Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
The superb 2010 Nenin (82% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc) reveals notes of blackberry, mocha, and blackcurrant. With an alcohol content of nearly 14%, it boasts plenty of body, fruit, and classic, rich notes of licorice and plum.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2015 guide) 17/20 (Great wine)
Rated estate (2019 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)
About the wine:
The 2010 vintage remains dense and full-bodied, yet also smooth. It is a very harmonious wine that still needs time to develop.
About the estate:
The Delon family, owners of the renowned Château Léoville Las Cases in Saint-Julien and Château Potensac in the Médoc, acquired this large estate in 1997 and spared no effort to restore it to its former glory. They undertook major renovations, reaching a new milestone in 1999 with the expansion of the vineyard through the purchase of half of the former Château Certan Giraud (the other half belonging to the Jean-Pierre Moueix estate, under the name Hosanna). The wines produced here display a classic character; they often appear somewhat austere and strict in their youth, but they age remarkably well. The quality of the wines continues to improve thanks to a rigorous selection process (generally only 30 to 40% of the production makes it into the grand vin). The most recent vintages are all highly recommended, more approachable in their youth without losing any of their depth or class. With prices remaining reasonable, these are excellent buys for lovers of pure, distinguished wines.
