“Having earned three ‘Coup de Coeur’ awards from the Guide, this cuvée continues to impress in the 2007 vintage. Deep purple in color, it stands out for its blackcurrant bouquet, which is still slightly overshadowed by the oak from its aging. Frank on the attack, full-bodied and powerful, the palate is supported by firm tannins that will need two to three years in the cellar to soften." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins)

Wine noted (guide 2011) 1*Star (Very successful wine)

About the wine:

After growing up in Mexico, Henri Bourlon’s father moved to France, where he purchased this estate, which has since expanded significantly while respecting both people and the environment. Having earned three “Coup de Coeur” awards from the Guide, this cuvée continues to impress in the 2007 vintage. Intense purple in color, it stands out with a bouquet of blackcurrant still slightly dominated by the oak from aging. Bold on the attack, full-bodied and powerful, the palate is supported by firm tannins that will need two to three years in the cellar to soften.
