1*Étoile

Hachette

"Winner of three "Coups de Coeur" awards in the Guide, this cuvée continues to impress in the 2007 vintage. Intense purple in color, it stands out with a bouquet of blackcurrant still slightly dominated by the woodiness of the aging process. Frank on the attack, full-bodied and powerful, the palate is supported by firm tannins that need two to three years of cellaring to soften." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins)

About wine:

After growing up in Mexico, Henri Bourlon's father moved to France, where he bought this estate, which has since developed considerably, with respect for people and the environment. Awarded three "coups de coeur" in the Guide, this cuvée continues to impress in the 2007 vintage. Intense purple in color, it is distinguished by a bouquet of blackcurrant still slightly dominated by the woodiness of the aging process. Frank on the attack, full-bodied and powerful, the palate is supported by firm tannins that need two to three years of cellaring to soften.
