Château de la Tour

Château de la Tour was built in 1890 in the upper part of Clos de Vougeot and has belonged to the same family ever since. Château de la Tour is also the largest owner of Clos de Vougeot and the only one to produce wine within the enclosure. It produces extraordinary wines that are among the finest in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy. This benchmark estate in the famous Clos de Vougeot vineyard rightly enjoys a reputation that is unanimously recognized around the world.

Château de la Tour is now run by François Labet, who continues to apply traditional expertise in harmony with his unique terroir. Château de la Tour's Clos-Vougeot is one of Burgundy's"Grands Crus," exceptional in more ways than one, with strictly limited production (35 hl/ha) made from Pinot Noir grapes. The exceptional quality of Château de la Tour wine is recognized by all wine lovers and specialized journalists as a Grand Cru de Tradition par excellence.
