Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine
The Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) is one of the specific communal appellations within the Macôn-Villages AOC production area. Since 1937, the communes of Azé, Bray, Burgy, Bussières, Chaintré, Chardonnay, Charnay-lès-Mâcon, Cruzille, Davayé, Fuissé, Igé, Loché, Lugny, Mancey, Montbellet, Péronne, Pierreclos, Prissé, La Roche-Vineuse, Saint-Gengoux-le-National, Solutré-Pouilly, Uchizy, Vergisson, Verzé, Vinzelles and, of course, Milly-Lamartine.

The Mâconnais hills shape the terroir, which is dominated by siliceous, clayey, and sandy soils that are particularly favorable for the development of the region's grape variety: Chardonnay.

Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine wines are exclusively white wines renowned for their rich aromatic palette, inherited from the magnificent expression of Chardonnay. Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine wines are very easy to drink and can be enjoyed in all circumstances. In the Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine appellation, the quality of the white wines produced by Domaine Christophe Cordier is particularly noteworthy.
