Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine
The Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) is one of the specific municipal appellations within the Mâcon-Villages AOC production area. In fact, since 1937, the following municipalities have been eligible for the Mâcon-Villages AOC: Azé, Bray, Burgy, Bussières, Chaintré, Chardonnay, Charnay-lès-Mâcon, Cruzille, Davayé, Fuissé, Igé, Loché, Lugny, Mancey, Montbellet, Péronne, Pierreclos, Prissé, La Roche-Vineuse, Saint-Gengoux-le-National, Solutré-Pouilly, Uchizy, Vergisson, Verzé, Vinzelles, and, of course, Milly-Lamartine.

The hills of the Mâconnais shape the terroir, characterized by siliceous, clayey, and sandy soils that are particularly conducive to the flourishing of the region’s signature grape variety: Chardonnay.

Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine wines are exclusively white wines renowned for the richness of their aromatic profile, a legacy of Chardonnay’s magnificent expression. Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine wines are very approachable and enjoyable in any setting. Within the Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine appellation, the quality of the white wines produced by Domaine Christophe Cordier is particularly noteworthy.
