Mâcon-Prissé

A dry white wine, Mâcon Prissé is classified as a still wine. Mâcon Prissé white is produced in the Burgundy wine region, located in eastern France, and more specifically in the Mâcon wine-growing area. Administratively, Mâcon Prissé white may be produced in the commune of Prissé. Its terroir benefits from a continental climate and rendzina soils, as well as brown calcareous or calcareous soils. Mâcon Prissé white wine may be produced using only a single grape variety: "Chardonnay B." Mâcon Prissé white holds the French AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) designation as well as the European AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée) designation. It also bears the "villages" designation. Whether or not followed by the name of a village, this designation helps distinguish qualitative differences within the same appellation. This wine falls under the generic Mâcon appellation and the Mâcon Prissé wine designation.
