Mâcon-Prissé
A dry white wine, Mâcon Prissé is classified as a still wine. Mâcon Prissé white is produced in the Burgundy vineyards, located in eastern France, and more specifically in the Mâcon wine region. Administratively, Mâcon Prissé white can be produced in the commune of Prissé. Its terroir benefits from a continental climate and rendzina and brown calcareous or calcic soils. Mâcon Prissé white wine can only be produced from a single grape variety: "Chardonnay B." Mâcon Prissé blanc has the French AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) label as well as the European AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée) label. It also has the "villages" designation. Whether or not it is followed by the name of a village, this designation makes it possible to distinguish qualitative differences within the same appellation. This wine falls under the generic appellation Mâcon and the wine designation Mâcon Prissé.
