Cardinale 2013

Cardinale 2013

96/100

Robert Parker

“A superb wine from Chris Carpenter and the Kendall-Jackson family, this blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Merlot—drawn primarily from the Jackson family’s mountain vineyards—is fabulous. The 2013 Cardinale boasts a deep purple color. A gentle hint of blackcurrant cream, along with licorice, blackberry, and coffee, is found in this full-bodied, rather intense, and sublime Cabernet. It should age gracefully for at least 25 years. It was aged in approximately 91% new French oak barrels for 18–20 months before bottling. "It is certainly one of the finest Cardinales we have ever tasted." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker) Delivered in a wooden case for any order of 6 bottles of this wine
