Cardinal 2013

Cardinale 2013

96/100

Robert Parker

"A superb wine from Chris Carpenter and the Kendall-Jackson family, this blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Merlot, sourced mainly from the Jackson family's mountain vineyards, is fabulous. Cardinale 2013 has a dense purple color. A sweet kiss of crème de cassis, licorice, blackberry, and coffee can be found in this full-bodied, rather intense, and sublime Cabernet. It should be enjoyed for at least 25 years. It was aged in approximately 91% new French oak barrels for 18-20 months before bottling. This is certainly one of the finest Cardinales we have ever tasted." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker) Delivery in wooden crates for all orders of 6 bottles of this wine.
