“Blended in equal parts from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this champagne boasts a brilliant golden-yellow color and opens with a ripe, elegant nose that combines dried apricot, cinnamon, macerated fruit, and gingerbread. This richness is confirmed on the palate, which is honeyed, both full-bodied and lively, harmonious and well-balanced. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014). A perfect everyday champagne!

Wine rated (2014 guide) 2** stars (Outstanding wine)

About the wine:

Run by Rudy and Nathalie Hutasse, this estate, founded in the 1930s, boasts an 11-hectare vineyard around Bouzy, a renowned grand cru in the Montagne de Reims. Two years ago, it made a name for itself with a non-vintage brut that was named Favorite. Favorite This 2002 vintage may not have won a crown, but it has earned just as many stars as its predecessor and has received high praise. A blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this champagne boasts a brilliant golden-yellow color and opens with a ripe, elegant nose combining dried apricot, cinnamon, macerated fruit, and gingerbread. This richness is confirmed on the palate, which is honeyed, both rich and lively, harmonious and well-balanced.
