The Pottin and Dhuicq families have been present in Champagne since 1687. Well-known farming and winegrowing families in the Marne Valley, they have been working the land for many generations. Mater & Filii is therefore first and foremost a story of lineage, of passing on a passion and intergenerational expertise.
Mater & Filii is located in the terroirs of Troissy and Dormans, with vines spread over a dozen plots, mainly planted with Meunier grapes. The estate is committed to progressing towards sustainable and modern viticulture.
Mater & Filii produces champagnes of great precision and elegance. Their range of seven cuvées has a distinctive identity, with a graphite character imbued with modernity.
