In the 1960s, Remy Bertin and Jeanine Bertin purchased their first vineyard plots in the Verneuil area, in the heart of the Marne Valley. That was when Champagne Remy Bertin was born; it has grown and flourished over the years, driven by passion and hard work.
In 2018, Sandie—the granddaughter of Henri and Jeanine—along with her husband Ludovic, revived the family brand Remy Bertin, which had been dormant since her grandparents ceased operations in 1990. Proud to carry on this legacy, they craft fine, delicate champagnes by selecting the best wines and terroirs, combining Champagne’s three flagship grape varieties: Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay.
