Rosé from Les Riceys
With 866 hectares of vineyards, Les Riceys is the largest wine-growing region in Champagne and stands out as the only commune to boast three AOP designations: Champagne, Coteaux Champenois, and Rosé des Riceys. This charming village, located in the southernmost part of Champagne on the border with Burgundy, is renowned for its rich and diverse heritage.

In 1680, the Terrassiers of Les Riceys introduced the King of France to Les Riceys wine, which reportedly became one of his favorites. Rosé des Riceys became an AOP in 1947.

A unique and prestigious Champagne-style wine, Rosé des Riceys is a still wine made from Pinot Noir grapes ripened on the best-exposed slopes. Its winemaking process, unique in the world, lies at the heart of the region’s expertise and has been passed down from generation to generation. Today, only 25 winemakers produce this truly distinctive nectar.
