A blend of old Grenache (40 years old) and Syrah vines, Picos Pardos reveals intense fruity aromas with a subtle hint of spice brought out by careful aging. The palate is structured by soft, balanced tannins. Excellent value for money, that's for sure!

Not impressed by this wine, not really intense as described in the comments, and its structure is unbalanced by the alcohol.

For $7.90, this is a lovely, fruity summer red that stays true to the "refined" style of Spanish wines.
