Over time, La Legua ’s various owners have made the pursuit of innovation and experimentation—both in the vineyards and in the winery—a cornerstone of their approach to producing high-quality wines.
The grape varieties grown at La Legua are Tempranillo (85%), Grenache Noir (8%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (7%). The terroir consists of alluvial soil and gravel. The continental climate brings significant temperature fluctuations throughout the year, as well as between day and night.
