La Legua
La Legua is a family-owned estate located 6 km from the city of Valladolid—a distance of one league, hence its name , which means “league.” Over the past three centuries, this agricultural estate has evolved into a renowned winery. Over time, La Legua ’s successive owners have consistently prioritized innovation and experimentation—both in the vineyards and in the winery—to produce high-quality wines.
The grape varieties cultivated by La Legua are Tempranillo (85%), Grenache Noir (8%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (7%). The terroir consists of alluvial soil and gravel. The continental climate brings significant temperature variations throughout the year, as well as between night and day.
