Bastida Family
The Bastida Family owns various estates in several regions of Spain and produces wines with different appellations: Castilla La Mancha, Rioja, Ribeira del Duero, Jumilla, Cava, Utiel-Requena. The family Bastida has been working the vineyards for three generations, dating back to 1870.

One of its bodegas is located between Murcia and Madrid, in the heart of Spain, and produces wines under the La Mancha appellation. This property covers 40 hectares of vines, aged between 10 and 25 years old, pruned using the goblet and espalier methods. Located in central Spain, the Familia Bastidavineyard enjoys a continental Mediterranean climate. The vines are grown on clay, limestone, and sandy soils at an altitude of over 800 meters, in very harsh and stressful climatic conditions for the vines, despite the cool nights. The sun shines constantly, which promotes a high concentration of grapes. The grape varieties grown on the estate are typical of the region, with a majority of Tempranillo and Grenache.
