Bastida Family
The Bastida Family owns various estates in several regions of Spain and produces wines from a variety of appellations: Castilla-La Mancha, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Jumilla, Cava, Utiel-Requena. The family Bastida has been cultivating the vineyard for three generations, dating back to 1870.

One of its wineries is located between Murcia and Madrid, in the heart of Spain, and produces wines under the La Mancha appellation. This estate spans 40 hectares of vineyards, with vines ranging from 10 to 25 years old, trained using the goblet and trellis methods. Located in central Spain, the Familia Bastidavineyard benefits from a continental Mediterranean climate. The vines are grown on soils composed of clay, limestone, and sand, at an altitude of over 800 meters, in climatic conditions that are very harsh and stressful for the vines despite the cool nights. The sun shines constantly, which promotes a high concentration of flavor in the grapes. The grape varieties grown on the estate are typical of the region, with a majority of Tempranillo and Grenache.
