Rating: Robert Parker 92/100
“The 2008 Celler Besllum Xabec, with its opaque purple color, is a blend of 50% Cariñena and 50% Grenache aged in French oak barrels for 14 months. Aromas of toast, minerals, lavender, black cherry, plum, and licorice create an already complex nose—a concentrated Montsant. Flavorful, ripe, and succulent, it has enough structure to age for 1 to 2 years, although this exceptional bottle can be enjoyed right now.” (Wine Advocate – Robert Parker)
