"The Genium 2007 is made from 60% Grenache and 20% Carignan, rounded out with Merlot and Syrah. The Grenache and Carignan come from vines over 90 years old. It was aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. The nose offers Asian spices, incense, plum, blackberry, and balsamic notes, in the classic Priorat style. Juicy, concentrated, and well-balanced, it will continue to develop for 1 to 2 years and will be ready to drink through 2019.” (Wine Advocate – Robert Parker)
