Bodega Virgen de la Asunción

Bodega Virgen de la Asunción, founded in 1957, is a cooperative that brings together some of the best winemakers in the appellation, who cultivate small plots in the "Triángulo de Oro" (Golden Triangle) of the Ribera del Duero region in Spain.

All of Bodega Virgen de la Asunción’s production comes from its own vineyards, located in La Horra, covering a total area of 450 hectares. The vines are particularly well-suited for the production of “Reserva” and “Crianza” wines. Ribera de Duero wines are considered high-quality due to the meticulous care given to the mature vines, and are even regarded as the best among the "denominación de origen" wines.

The wines of Bodega Virgen de la Asunción are gently and quickly pressed, fermented, and aged in oak barrels before being bottled. This method, used by Bodega Virgen de la Asunción, produces very pure, aromatic, and natural wines that are highly appreciated by wine lovers.
