Bodega Virgen de la Asunción
Bodega Virgen de la Asunción, founded in 1957, is a cooperative of some of the finest winemakers in the denomination, cultivating small plots in the "Triangulo de oro" (Golden Triangle) of Spain's Ribera Del Duero.

All Bodega Virgen de la Asunción production comes from its own vineyards in La Horra, covering a total area of 450 hectares. The vines are particularly well suited to growing the "Reservas" and "Crianzas" crus. Ribera de Duero wines are considered to be of the highest quality due to the meticulous care given to mature vines, and even the best of the "denominación de origen".

Bodega Virgen de la Asunción wines are pressed gently and quickly, fermented and aged in oak barrels before bottling. This method, applied by Bodega Virgen de la Asunción, results in very pure, aromatic and natural wines, much appreciated by wine lovers.
