Bodegas Burgo Viejo

Bodegas Burgo Viejo is a cooperative founded in 1987 that brings together six families of winegrowers. Its main strength lies in its perfectly mastered winemaking processes.

The Bodegas Burgo Viejo vineyard is located in the municipality of Alfaro, in the Rioja appellation, at the foot of the Yerga mountain, on the fertile banks of the Ebro valley. This terroir offers a wide variety of soils and microclimates, where Tempranillo, Carignan, and Grenache grapes in particular thrive.

The Bodegas Burgo Viejo wineries are run by highly qualified staff who select the best grapes to produce fresh and fruity Rioja wines. All the wines produced embody the spirit of innovation and tradition of the Bodega, as intended by its founders.
