Bodegas y Vinedos Zuazo Gaston
The history of the Zuazo family dates back to 1908 with the construction of the first winery in Oyon. In 1947, Mariano Zuazo and Victoriano Gaston, with the help of other local winemakers, established the first local cooperative and began selling wine in bulk. It wasn’t until 40 years later that the next generation focused on producing and marketing wines made from the estate’s own vineyards.
For over 10 years, Prudencio Zuazo Gaston developed plans to expand the estate, and in 2001, Bodegas y Viñedos Zuazo Gaston was established. As a result, the Zuazo Gaston vineyard now covers 100 hectares of vines.
Zuazo Gaston wines are distributed in more than 20 countries worldwide and are regularly recognized by the press and industry professionals.
