The Elena Fucci estate is located near the town of Barile, in northern Basilicata, amidst the region’s most beautiful vineyards and olive groves, on the fertile slopes of solidified lava from an ancient volcano, Mount Vulture.

The Elena Fucci estate is tended with passion to achieve the highest quality and full expression of Aglianico del Vulture, producing a unique wine with a personality that stands out among thousands. The 7 hectares of the Elena Fucci estate’s vineyards are situated at an altitude of 650 meters on a lava flow from the volcano. The soil consists of volcanic rock and ash, known as "pozzolana." This soil characteristic gives the wine its strength, structure, and minerality, which blend into an elegant bouquet and an impressively refined texture.
