Cantina Scagliola

The Scagliola brothers, Maggiorino and Mario, come from an old family of winegrowers and inherited a small vineyard on a hillside in the municipality of San Siro, near the town of Calosso, in the center of the province of Asti. Although this region has one of the highest concentrations of vineyards in Italy, the Scagliolas preserve the reputation of Asti wines through the quality of their work. Meticulous vineyard management and undeniable expertise in winemaking enable this estate to produce excellent red wines that have won numerous awards.

The Scagliola estate's vines are cultivated using the most natural methods possible. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with the utmost care. Scagliola wines are made from traditional regional grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Langhe, Asti, Alba, and Monferrato, to which Pinot Noir and Zinfandel are added to create remarkable wines.
