Les Vignes Oubliées
Located in St Privat, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac, the Les Vignes Oubliées estate is the fruit of a project initiated in the 2000s by Jean-Baptiste Granier, a young agricultural engineer, and Olivier Jullien, an illustrious Languedoc winegrower.

These 9 hectares of vines, destined to be abandoned for economic reasons, have come back to life, now cultivated in partnership with their owners. Benefiting from the generosity of the Languedoc coupled with the freshness of the Larzac, this high-altitude terroir (up to 350m) and its rich soils of schist, sandstone and clay-limestone make it an exceptional site.

The wines are the result of meticulous work on the soil and vines, and carry a true message of terroir, highlighting the grape varieties. The wines are matured in a cool cave, a former oil mill, conveying a true message of terroir.

In a dapper, easy-to-digest style, the Languedoc-declared cuvée is a pure delight. Based on clairette grapes, the white wine is skilfully framed by wood ageing. The soil composition is rich: Schist; Sandstone; Clay-limestone.
