The Forgotten Vines
Located in St Privat, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac, the Les Vignes Oubliées estate is the result of a project initiated in the 2000s by Jean-Baptiste Granier, a young agricultural engineer, and Olivier Jullien, a renowned winemaker from Languedoc.

These 9 hectares of vines, which were destined to be abandoned for economic reasons, have been brought back to life and are now cultivated in partnership with their owners. Benefiting from the generosity of the Languedoc region coupled with the coolness of the Larzac, this high-altitude terroir (up to 350m) and its rich schist, sandstone, and clay-limestone soils make it an exceptional site.

The wines are the result of meticulous work on the soil and vines, and convey a true message of terroir, highlighting the grape varieties. The wines are aged in a cool cave, a former oil mill, conveying a true message of terroir.

With its lively and easy-drinking style, this Languedoc cuvée is pure joy. Based on Clairette, the white wine is skillfully balanced by aging in wood. The soil composition is rich: schist, sandstone, and clay-limestone.
