A touch (7%) of Grolleau accompanies Cabernet Franc in this appealing wine with its dark color and purple highlights. Equally appealing, the nose offers a generous basket of red and black fruits: crushed raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant. Also very aromatic, the palate is distinguished by its roundness, opulence, volume and silky structure, which reinforces its pleasant and tender character." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2017)

Almost no aroma. A tannic Cabernet Franc that's a bit rustic...so, meh...I prefer them vinified with fruit and fragrance. Drink chilled to soften the astringency with summer grills and hard cheeses...

Hachette guide needs revising. Bland wine, no nose, no interest.

Drinkable but nothing more, unpleasant acidity on the palate. Nevertheless, good value for money!
