With its deep garnet color and violet highlights, the 2015’s appearance exudes a richness full of promise. About the estate:
After several years at the INAO, Daniel Nairaud set his sights on the sandy-clay soils of Châteaumeillant and acquired a vineyard of nearly 8 hectares in 2011. He quickly established himself as a reliable name within the appellation. He also heads the wine merchant firm Bituriges Vins, founded in 2013.

A fruity wine, though still a bit austere

I didn't particularly enjoy this wine; it was austere and lacked richness.

A nice, fruity wine. It has a full-bodied mouthfeel. It’s pleasant overall, but nowhere near as good as a Gamay from Ruet… so it doesn’t make Favorite.

Cherry juice! Surprising. Still a bit astringent (tasted in June 2017), but that should mellow with age. Interesting—a truly unique wine. For the price, it would be a shame to pass it up.

A magnificent wine, bursting with fruit and complemented by supple, velvety tannins. A lovely, lingering finish. Without a doubt, a bottle that does justice to its relatively little-known appellation!!!!

A pleasant wine, but it lacks a touch of flair.

Interesting and unique, this wine should improve with age; however, it remains a modest wine that is overpriced.
