Maison JB Clair

Maison Clair is a wine-growing estate in the Côte Roannaise region. It has been producing Côte Roannaise wines since the 16th century (the oldest known deed of sale for a vineyard in Judea dates back to 1536). After obtaining AOC status in 1994, it continued to produce AOC red and rosé wines.  It has also been producing its flagship product, La Méthode Traditionnelle, since 1896 in Rosé and White, Brut or Demi-Sec (sweet). The estate is currently a corporation. Jean-Baptiste Clair sadly passed away on April 18, 2019.
