"Clair de Lune? Another name for Chenin (or Pineau de la Loire). The pale, brilliant yellow color of this 2015 vintage evokes the color of the moon at night. Fermented and aged in barrels, this wine reveals a wide range of aromas on the nose: white flowers, apple, boxwood, lemon, and citrus. On the palate, it is a lively, straightforward dry wine, but without any harshness, with a long, lemony finish." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018) A dry Montlouis-sur-Loire at a very attractive price!
