Vignobles Patrice Moreux
Vignobles Patrice Moreux has its roots in the Loire Valley, spanning two flagship Sauvignon appellations—Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre—and uniting two winemaking families through the marriage of Jeannin Corty and Raymond Moreux in 1955.
The Pouilly-Fumé vineyard comprises 30 hectares across four terroirs, including the famous "Loge aux Moines," a historic site settled by Benedictine monks as early as the 11th century. Today, this 4.5-hectare monopole overlooks the Loire on Kimmeridgian marl soil similar to that found in Chablis, among other places. The other Loire appellation, Sancerre, is part of Patrice Moreux’sportfolio , spanning 6hectares of clay-limestone vineyards inChavignol and Crézancy.
Finally, since 1979, Vignobles Patrice Moreux has owned the Domaine des Vingtinières, located in the Maures Mountains, comprising 35 hectares in the Côtes de Provence.
Today, Patrice Moreux’s sons, Arnaud and Julien, have taken over from previous generations of winemakers, still driven by a desire to share their passion and expertise.
