Loire Rosé
The Rosé de Loire AOC potentially covers the entire territory of the Anjou and Touraine AOCs (whose respective cultivation rules it adheres to).

Annual production forthe Rosé de Loire AOC is approximately 56,000 hl from 1,100 hectares, primarily in Anjou. The following grape varieties are authorized for use in Rosé de Loire: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grolleau, Pineau d'Aunis, Gamay, and Côt. To facilitate cultivation and achieve excellent value for money, mechanization is common for this appellation. Thus, the vines are generally planted at a density of 4,000 to 5,000 vines per hectare and pruned using the Guyot method (single or double).

The wines ofthe Rosé de Loire AOC are the perfect companions for sunny days—light, supple, and easy-drinking... They range in color from pale pink with grayish highlights to raspberry pink with orange hues. Generally very aromatic and rich, they feature notes of red berries, violets, and English candy. On the palate, lightness and freshness are the hallmarks.
