Loire Valley Rosé
The Rosé de Loire appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) potentially covers the entire Anjou and Touraine AOC areas (whose respective cultivation rules it complies with).

The annual production ofRosé de Loire AOC is around 56,000 hl for 1,100 ha, mainly in Anjou. The following grape varieties are authorized for use in Rosé de Loire: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grolleau, Pineau d'Aunis, Gamay, and Côt. To facilitate cultivation and obtain excellent value for money, mechanization is common for this appellation. The vines are generally planted at a density of 4,000 to 5,000 vines/ha and pruned using the Guyot method (single or double).

AOC Rosé de Loire wines are perfect for sunny days, light, supple and smooth... They range in color from pale pink with gray highlights to raspberry pink with orange highlights. Generally very aromatic and delicious, they offer notes of red berries, violets, and English candy. On the palate, they are light and fresh.
