“Well-balanced, flavorful, and impeccably fresh—a perfect wine!”

"A regular standout, the estate treats us to a little gem, aged simply in tanks. Fresh and intense, the nose unfolds in two stages: mineral and smoky notes, followed, after some aeration, by lively hints of red berries and blackcurrant buds. A lovely bouquet that infuses a substantial yet well-rounded palate, bursting with fruit and resting gently on just-crisp tannins. Harmonious, rich, fresh, clean, and flawless, it has everything to please.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

About the wine:

A regular standout, the estate treats us to a little gem, aged simply in tanks. Fresh and intense, the nose unfolds in two stages: mineral and smoky notes, followed, after aeration, by lively hints of red berries and blackcurrant buds. A lovely bouquet that leads to a full-bodied yet well-rounded palate, bursting with fruit and resting gently on just-crisp tannins. Harmonious, rich, fresh, clean, and flawless, it has everything to please.

About the estate:

A leading estate in Saint-Pourçain, established in 1922. At the helm since 1982, Jean-Louis Pétillat has handed the reins to Mélanie Pfeffer, who now oversees operations at the winery, drawing on her extensive experience in Provence and the Bordeaux region. The estate spans 22 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Bourbonnais wine region, with its 19th-century buildings serving as the centerpiece.
