Château de Varennes

Château de Varennes is located in the heart of the Savennières appellation, in the Loire Valley. The 7 hectares of Château de Varennes’ vineyards, owned by Alain Château along with Château de la Guimonière and Château Bellerive, are planted exclusively with Chenin Blanc. The vineyards of Château de Varennes cling to the schist and sandstone slopes descending toward the northern bank of the Loire. Facing south/southeast, they enjoy exceptional sunlight.

Château de Varennes AOC Savennières is a wine with a golden-yellow color and green highlights. The schist and sandstone hillside terroir produces a wine of exceptional quality. On the palate, the attack is smooth and fresh, accompanied by hints of hazelnut and apricot. The finish offers finesse and minerality.
