Château de Varennes

Château de Varennes is located in the heart of the Savennières appellation in the Loire Valley. The 7 hectares of Château de Varennes vineyards, owned by Alain Château along with Château de la Guimonière and Château Bellerive, are exclusively planted with Chenin blanc grapes. The Château de Varennes vines cling to the schist and sandstone hillsides sloping down to the northern bank of the Loire. Facing south/southeast, they enjoy exceptional sunshine.

Château de Varennes AOC Savennières is a wine with a golden yellow color and green highlights. The schist and sandstone hillside terroir produces a wine of exceptional quality. On the palate, the attack is smooth and fresh, accompanied by hints of hazelnut and apricot. The finish is refined and mineral.
