Quinta do Ameal
Founded in 1710, Quinta do Ameal is a small family estate located in the Lima Valley. It is now run by Pedro Araujo, recognized worldwide as an expert on Loureiro, the predominant grape variety in Vinho Verde production.
The Quinta do Ameal vineyard is organically farmed and produces one of the finest expressions of Loureiro. Planted on granite soils, it yields exceptional white wines that are full of character, aromatic, expressive, and suitable for aging.
